Our Premium Organic Cacao Powder originates from the Amazon rainforest of Satipo in Peru and is grown from an heirloom variety of unroasted Criollo Amazonico Cacao.

With an ORAC score of 147,000 our Organic Cacao is super rich in antioxidants and is famous for its fine aroma and distinctive flavour by locals who name it the “Queen of Cacao”.
It has twice the amount of potent antioxidants than traditional cocoa powder, 30 times more than blueberries and 34 times more than found in Goji berries.
Our Organic Cacao is rich in zinc, omega 3, aminos, beta carotene, calcium, chromium, iron, copper, sulphur, potassium and is one of the richest sources of magnesium in the world, which happens to be the most deficient mineral in western civilisation. Magnesium aids in muscle relaxation, stress relief, having a healthy heart and a functioning brain.
Cacao is a great source of serotonin, dopamine, anandamide and phenylethylamine (PEA), four well-studied neurotransmitters, which are associated with feelings of well being. Both PEA and Anandamide (the bliss chemical) are found in abundance in the brains of happy people.

Add organic cacao powder to any protein shake, yoghurt or dessert such as in the following recipe:
Homemade Chocolate Recipe
½ Cup Organic Coconut Oil
½ Cup Organic Cacao Butter all melted together on a low heat
¾ Cup of Organic Cacao Powder
6 Dates (soaked) or use stevia if you really don’t want any carbs.
Then blend!
Then add to the blender any, none or all of these options:
½ cup of Organic Coconut Cream
Organic Cinnamon
Organic Vanilla
Organic Acai
Organic Maca
Organic Maqui
Organic Desiccated Coconut
Organic Brazil Nuts
Organic Walnuts
Organic Cashews
And whatever you else can imagine.....i.e. pea protein, whey protein - if you want more of a protein bar.
Refrigerate for a few hours and voila! You have your very own organically made chocolate packed with antioxidants, minerals, vitamins and awesome fats.....Enjoy:)

Best Organic Flavouring

So i hesitantly decided to give this cacao a shot, i ordered one bag just to try with stevia extract. That was more than a year ago. I'm hooked, even with no added sugar my shakes taste awesome with WPC and the right amount of stevia. Yum!

Great

Great value and taste

I was worried organic cacao wouldn't taste as good as normal cocoa but I was wrong! It mixes easily into my coffee and WPI without a shaker. Highly recommend! Super fast delivery too.

Moving Free

I believe, it has helped me get rid of inflammation. I just put in 1 heaped tspn with some cold water and then add boiling water, as I don't wont to destroy the benefits with all hot water. I also add some organic cinnamon and when I go to work some Maca for more energy. This has worked the best, and a better price than all the tablets I was trying. Almost Too Good

It goes pretty much with everything, including all your smoothies (even green smoothies—try it with spinach, banana and almond milk), yoghurts, power drinks, baked cookies and cakes. I especially love that it's packed with magnesium, keeping my stress levels down while giving my brain a boost at the same time. Tastes amazing. Health food doesn't come much yummier than this.

Great Flavor!

It may take someone who is new to this a little getting used to the flavor due to the lack of sweetness, but i once that phase passes you wont look back. Also, the fact that it does not contain any artificial ingredients adds peace of mind.

I now get a lot of my fat blocks from making chocolate using this ingredient with cacao butter, maple syrup and almonds. Yes, that’s right healthy chocolate! It’s also versatile enough to be used in shakes or add to yoghurt. I highly recommend this product.

Great taste

This stuff tastes great and becasue I use natural flavour WPI I am able to add as much or as little as I want. Nice to break up the bland flavour when I want a treat. I imagine it would taste great used when used in baking recipes.

Amazon quality
By: Brad Senese on 10 August 2013After drinking this organic cocao power the only thing lacking was a dart pipe, a canoe and other Amazonian paraphernalia. However after drinking it before bed an Amazon Lady came to me in my sleep and ventured with me to the sacred cocao water falls and hot springs. This is where things become a little hot and confidential. Lol. (Ok just kidding). I drink this with my protein powder and I always have an extra 2 cups before bed, IM ADDICTED! A tea spoon of sugar is perfect I have this with hot water and a dash of milk.. But for absolute enjoyment enhancement it's like this real Cocao powder was meant for heated milk. Therefore - that's milk chocolate! And complete impeccable taste as it was intended to be served. After 15 year's of coffee and hot chocolates amongst other food. While working out of Resorts, accommodation, Hotels, cities, suburbs.. I can assure this is at the top for chocolate quality list. Nor should it be compared to milk chocolate potentially containing soy lecithin. This is a brilliant clean raw product. . Add what you like with it.

Don't be a hero

This is a great guilt free flavouring and I even use the stevia extract now. Tastes awesome and due to the boost to my serotonin levels I get less "hangry" (hungry/angry).

I've experimented with stevia and whey protein, and all the other additions suggested. Now I have a recipe I enjoy. So do some of my friends! But unless you really love coconut cream I wouldn't bother with it. I love this chocolate without coconut cream. Just the Professional Whey products are enough to make a chocolate I enjoy as a snack. Keeps me looking and feeling great, and takes care of those hungry moments. I'm celebrating because I haven't had a day off work with illness this year. Think there must be something in these super foods!

Clearly a high quality product
By: Gavin Kromhout on 30 June 2012I've never used a Premium Cocoa Powder for flavouring before but this is clearly a high quality product and surprisingly complete food. Having said that it perhaps wasn't for me, while smooth it still doesn't completely disolve even in a blender. There is a slight powerdyness that I'm struggling to get through it. Just a tablespoon of honey or straight USA WPI is easier on the pallet IMHO.

Could just taste the cacao flavour.. I feel that it needs to be at least doubled. 200g per 1kg of Whey. Besides that: - Flavour 5/5 no problems (may need some sweetner I don't mind slight biterness) - Quality 5/5
