<<< NOW AVAILABLE IN 500g SIZE >>>
IBCAA 411 provides a 4:1:1 ratio of Pharmaceutical Grade Instant Branched Chain Amino Acids, that contains four parts leucine to isoleucine and valine.
In brief, here are the benefits of IBCAA 4:1:1:
- Pharmaceutical Grade 4:1:1 Ratio
- Made from Non GMO Fermented Glucose
- Instantised with Sunflower Lecithin
- Suitable for Vegans and Gluten Free
- One Tenth the Bitterness of Regular BCAA's
- 100% Unflavoured
Various studies suggest BCAA's may assist in:
- Increased Protein Synthesis
- Increased Recovery, Muscle Building and Fat Loss
And also suggest that Leucine is the main BCAA which activates anabolic signalling that occurs via the mammalian target of rapamycin (mTOR) which is responsible for muscle anabolism.
As a result leucine has become the primary BCAA responsible for promoting protein synthesis to enable recovery, muscle building and fat loss. Therefore we have provided the 4:1:1 ratio as an alternative to the traditional 2:1:1 ratio of standard BCAA's.
Made from Non GMO fermented glucose they are suitable for vegans and gluten free. Instantised with Sunflower Lecithin, they are completely water soluble and mix easily with a spoon. They also taste fine as they have one tenth the bitterness of regular BCAA's.
Available in 500 and 1kg packs, completely unflavoured.

Excellent Products
By: Andrew Littman on 29 November 2021I have been using Professional Whey products for a number of years. I use them because they are natural with no artificial additives and are competitively priced. I also have comfort in knowing that the company is Australian owned and operated therefore am playing a small role in supporting the local economy.

By: Richie Milne on 7 November 2017As a professional natural physique athlete I have to ensure that all products I ingest meet the required standards not to fail drug tests through ASADA and WADA. Professional Whey provide a guarantee for quality testing which i can rely on!

Absolutely Essential Product!
By: Jessica Warland on 23 May 2017From when I started weight training I knew that BCAA's were extremely important Only over the past month have I realised the importance of having a clean and pure BCAA supplement, it's made a huge difference and is a staple in my supplement group that I can't go without!

Good quality but wasn't for me
By: wendy on 4 December 2016This stuff is good quality but i had to add flavour to it, couldn't get used to it pure. Nevertheless I'd buy this non flavoured again as it "feels" right like that and you have more options to customise. Unfortunately I gave my batch away because it raised my insulin levels too much (I should've researched this before as i am insulin resistant), so it wasn't for me, but i know it's good stuff... wasn't going to chuck it out! Going back to my other aminos from this website instead.

Does the job without the artificial rubbish
By: Linda Baker on 16 October 2016High quality BCAAs without artificial sweeteners and the revolting fake flavours other manufacturers use to mask bitterness. Fits perfectly with my nutrition ethos.

Miss
By: Hayley Campbell on 13 September 2016Best product! Have been using it for 3 months consecutively now. I've struggled to put on muscle in the past but these BCAAs have done the job and helped me through training plateaus! I hate taking capsules and these powered BCAAs are perfect. Would definitely recommended, money well spent!

Same results, FAR better taste!
By: Tim van Ierschot on 2 June 2016I have used a number of BCAA powders in the past. Most tasted horrible (to put it nicely), to the point that I started using BCAA capsules instead. I decided to give this product a go, and was very pleasantly surprised that the taste was no longer so offensive to my tastebuds! I get the same results and no longer have to stomach a powder that tastes like a combination of soap and curdled milk. VERY happy!

Plus
By: Dabid on 25 March 2016I am new to taking bcaa's and was naturally skeptical of their usefulness if one were taking adequate amounts of protein. Indeed, a quick trawling of the literature and body building message boards online will give a veritable smorgasbord of opions ranging from seemingly plausible to downright bro science. And so the only way to really know the truth of something is to try it for your damn self. And so try I did. And notice a BIG difference I also did. I went from using only protein to taking bcaa's pre and post workout and also before bed. After adding this to my routine I noticed much faster recovery and ability to go much harder the next day. I can only assume that having an instant source of the 3 most utilised amino acids in muscle building available dramatically enhances repair and recovery. I'm going to keep using bcaa's as long as I'm training. Let the gains begin!!

First time user
By: Janelle Brillante on 1 November 2015I'm a hard gainer and have gained quite a few kilos through a meal program and found it hard to see any muscle tone/ build until I started using this product. My muscle definition is much more visible and as I'm not a fan of pre workout with caffeine and what not, having this pre-workout has allowed me to push through and endure my workouts.

Excellent product, fantastic price.
By: A. Nugent on 22 July 2015I recently did a month of intermittent fasting (approx 12 hours a day), I took this stacked in with MPI Casein in the mornings before fasting and again in the evenings post fasting with electrolytes and plain WPC. I maintained muscle mass during this period and lost fat, I noticed my delts in particular more defined. The taste is a little bitter, but who in the iron game doesn't put up with some discomfort for the bigger picture?

Excellent value IBCAA.
By: Francis King on 11 May 2014Look no further than PW's IBCAA's for your post workout needs. I really didn't know what I was missing out on until I added PW's BCAA's to my supplement list. This product allows me to make the most of my diet and maximizes my protein synthesis so I'm getting more out of what I'm putting in. PW's BCAA's mix easily, are neutral in taste (a big deal) and deliver proven results. Quite frankly you're cutting corners without it. Use with Glutamine and Creatine for excellent results.

A different kind of horrible.
By: Lin Krust on 12 April 2014Make no mistake - the BCAAs taste horrible. I mix them with Professional Whey's L-Carnitine L-Tartrate (another outstanding product) to make ...well ...a different kind of horrible. But let's be clear - it works. My recovery has definitely improved!

Just right
By: Brigid Green on 20 February 2014I take 1tsp unflavoured IBCCA per litre during my workouts and it couldn't be better. I use it to aid in recovery. Drinking it unflavoured is fine, just don't expected it to taste like a tropical party in your mouth. I drink it plain or add a little orange stevia flavouring if i feel like it.

The perfect alternative to whey protein
By: Brent Raiteri on 5 February 2014Professional Whey has improved the taste and dissolvability of their BCAAs since my last purchase. In comparison to other BCAAs on the market I have found this is a better quality, cheaper and less bitter product. I mix 5 g of BCAAs with 300 mL of water before and after my workouts, before bedtime and first thing in the morning.

Easy to use
By: steve porter on 8 January 2014I add to my pre and post shakes. Mixes easily I don't notice any bitter or bad taste.

Another outstanding value-for-money product from P
By: Belinda Vale on 27 December 2013Excellent value BCAA's. Professional Whey's IBCAA is not only cheaper than other brands, its a better quality product. I won't buy anything else - A+ (I combine with Arginine AAKG and its a great pre-workout mix). Tastes nasty but so do all quality, pure BCAA's - add a little lemon juice if you can't handle the taste (you do get used to it however). Thanks Professional Whey!

Tastes fine and mixes well
By: Louise Rose on 19 September 2013I was a bit aprehensive about trying this. But add a bit of lemon juice and a pinch of stevia and it is like lemonade. It even tastes fine on its own. Best value product by far. Thanks PW!

Pure, great value
By: Josh Witham on 1 August 2013Dissolves easily. Tastes like any other pure branch chain, ie like crap, but that's what the pure BCAAs taste like, no way around it. Any flavouring or sweetener and it would not be the pure product! Easy enough to add some dextrose on your own to mask the flavour. Throw a pinch of this in to your Post WO to aid recovery. 1/2 tsp in a drink bottle full of water, sip away at it intra-workout will help your muscular endurance across sets or through a functional fitness workout. (it will also make your drink bottle smell bad within a week or two. Wash it out regularly!)

Cornerstone Nutrition and Perfect Product
By: cameron perry on 3 July 2013A cornerstone of workout nutrition, and unlike most competing products is in a close to ideal ratio of the 3 constituents. Most BCAA formulas taste like death. This one tastes like a slight headcold; not pleasant, but it doesn’t really slow you down much. For pre and peri workout supplements it’s very hard to overlook BCAA’s. There’s a tonne of hard science backing them up and you’d be hard pressed to find many credible detractors of BCAA’s, and this ridiculously pure and inexpensive offering belongs in every fitness-minded persons pantry or batcave. It would be nice to see PW cover periwork out information on the ‘suggested use’ panel, but that is a pretty bloody minor imperfection on an otherwise seamless product.

Does work!
By: Dylan Tindale on 28 June 2013I noticed a difference. Mostly faster recovery between sets. Tastes pretty bad. OK when mixed with Gatorade (BCAA 1 tsp, Gatorade 1 scoop, water 700ml +)

Good Stuff
By: Jade Small on 31 May 2013Great neutral taste , noticed quicker recovery when using this in a shake with other products I use from you guys !!

Makes a difference!
By: Matthew Wood on 13 May 2013A noticeable difference in recovery since I've added this to the protein shakes (breakfast/pre/peri/post). The taste difference is minimal if you use dextrose & maltodextrin (pre/peri/post). Gives me the ability to up the pace, volume & performance in my workout schedule. Great value also when compared to other BCAA's on the market.

Pretty good
By: Pranil Singh on 20 February 2013First time trying BCAA's, they're not too bad. Apparently not as crazy tasting as some other products - part of a standard IF now.

Flavouring may be an improvement
By: Brett Belcher on 27 January 2013I have never tried a leucine supplement so am not familiar with it's taste or solubility. After reading the positive reviews here, I expected there to be no or minimal taste. My honest opinion is that it tastes terrible, remembering that I have no experience to compare it to. Currently experimenting with various flavours to improve my experience. Cordial and juice don't do it. A decent amount of cacao helps but it can still be tasted. Flavour suggestions welcome.

Nothing beats IBCAA!
By: Basil Subh on 12 October 2012I've been looking for IBCAA in bulk for a while now so when I found out the PW were selling it I had to get it and I wasn't let down. The quality is as I expected to be and it mixes so well that you don't see all the fluff you usually see with regular BCAA and no after taste at all in whatever drink you put it in which is a bonus because regular BCAA does change the taste of your drink. Worth every cent I paid for it and will become a regular by from PW for me

These Have Increased My Recovery
By: Rob Jarz on 29 August 2012Great ratio of leucine, a sickly terrible taste on its own, mixes really well in water, or with other products to mask the taste. I have a heaped tsp with staminade and about 700 ml water and sip during a grueling workout, and then post workout with a quality protein, dextrose, maltodextrin and creapure creatine, all quality products from PW. I have found this product has increased my recovery dramatically. Keep up the quality.

Dissolves easily
By: Brent Raiteri on 4 July 2012Compared to other BCAAs this product dissolves easily and has the benefit that it can be taken with water alone without tasting too bad. The price for the high content of leucine is obviously it's major positive. Brent

Dissolves easy and great for recovery
By: steve dulieu on 4 July 2012Over many years I've tried a lot of protein supplements. Your new 4-1-1 BCAA is far superior in my opinion. It dissolves easily, unlike normal leucine, and post-wokout recovery is a lot quicker. Steve
